What a nice way to end a rather crazy week but in a good way. Had the privilege of attending ISTE Live in Denver, Colorado. Despite the fact that I'm not part of the Copyleaks for education team, it was still an enlightening experience to say the least and I enjoyed speaking with every person I did from the high school english teachers to the heads of technology for school districts. First, it reaffirms my belief that teachers in the United States should be treated better, but thats neither here nor there for now. To NO surprise, Ai was the center of conversation everywhere. Most fascinating to me was schools all over are still trying to better understand Ai, along with its implications, while trying to create policies around it. It's funny because lots of multi-national corporations I speak to regularly are also going through the same thing. What that indicates (to me) is Generative Ai or commercially available Ai truly leveled the playing field. Whether you're a small school in the middle of nowhere, or a behemoth corporation with an eye popping market cap there is a very good chance that you might be having challenges creating substantive policies around Ai. The long short, creating a policy after understanding the extent of how Ai is being used is far more effective versus just taking shots in the dark with little to no visibility which is whats happening quite a lot these days. Whether they use Copyleaks or not is one thing, but my hope is at least a different perspective on how to approach will be at least a good start. #ai #generativeai #aiforeducation

Indeed it’s a very interesting topic as we are making Machine Learning models to analyse and predict how the process within the Vivieb’s own platform work and respond. This is also my first time working in collaboration with an Italian company which infuses Machine Learning, Cloud Native technologies and Software Engineering :)

Our latest annual report showcases recent and ongoing work across four major research areas: the Future of Learning, Applied Imagination, Networks of Imagination, and Science & Imagination. It also features a timeline of notable CSI projects and milestones stretching back to our launch in 2012. Early literacy is fundamental for a child's development, and involving parents in the learning process is crucial. Building a strong foundation in reading can significantly impact a child's academic success and future opportunities. As Spencer mentioned, simplicity in approach can often yield the most effective results. Together, as a community, we can make a meaningful difference in closing the literacy gap and empowering students to thrive academically.
