🌟 Celebrating International Women's Day 🌟 Today, as we commemorate International Women's Day, I am immensely proud of the supportive environment we've built at 512Financial. ⚡ 50% of our leadership team being women ⚡ 64% of our company being women It's more than just chance that led to these metrics - it's about owning our approach and values. The collective mindset of our team towards relationships creates a space where women feel genuinely valued and treated as equals. Our commitment to equality is tangible in our actions. Moms and dads on our team have the flexibility to adjust their schedules when a sick kiddo needs attention at home. Moreover, new parents are supported with 100% paid time off to embrace the precious moments of welcoming their newborns into their homes. And let me tell you, we have quite a few new bundles of joy joining our 512Financial team in the first half of 2024! 🎉 🍼 Beyond these actions, it's about creating an ecosystem where women can truly flourish. ➡ What elements in your work environment - current or ideal - would make you flourish? #InternationalWomensDay #Equality #DiversityAndInclusion #WomenInLeadership #Empowerment

🌟 Embracing Diversity, Empowering Women, #InspiringInclusion 🌟 March isn't just another month, it's a celebration of strength, resilience, and the power of #diversity. As we step into #InternationalWomenMonth, let's remember that inclusion isn't just about representation—it's about amplifying voices, fostering understanding, and embracing the beautiful tapestry of humanity. Inclusion isn't just a buzzword—it's the cornerstone of progress. When we embrace diversity in all its forms—gender, race, ethnicity, culture, and beyond—we unleash the full potential of our societies. We create spaces where everyone feels valued, heard, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives and talents. So let's raise our voices and stand together in solidarity, not just this month, but every day. Let's continue to advocate for equality, celebrate diversity, and build a future where every woman and girl can thrive, unapologetically and authentically. Together, we can create a world where inclusivity isn't just a goal—it's a reality. Happy International Women's Month! 💪🏽🌍✨ #InspiringInclusion #Diversity #InternationalWomensMonth #Empowerment

As we come together to celebrate International Women's Day, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible diversity as this years theme is #InspireInclusion. It's so important to recognise that our identities aren't just one-dimensional; no individual fits into the neat little box society tells us we must conform to. Intersectionality, reminds us that women can face multiple layers of discrimination based on their intersecting identities. For women who are multiply marginalised, these challenges can be even more pronounced. Whether it's navigating workplace biases, societal expectations, or personal hurdles, the intersection of our identities plays a significant role in how we move through the world and how the world sees us. But here's the thing – embracing intersectionality isn't just about acknowledging the struggles. It's also about celebrating the strength, resilience, and achievements of women from diverse backgrounds. It's about creating spaces where every woman feels valued, respected, and empowered to thrive. As we mark International Women's Day, let's commit to amplifying the voices of women who are often overlooked or side lined. Let's advocate for policies and practices that promote equity and inclusion, and let's continue working together to break down barriers and build a more equitable future for all. So here's to the brilliant medley of intersectional identities that make each of us who we are. Happy International Women's Day! They are posed in front of a red background with the text 'Demand the Change' from the Shaw Trust Disability Power 100 event 2023. What you cant see is how supported and inspired Gem felt by the presence of so many change makers and especially those women who she wishes to celebrate today! #InspireInclusion #IWD2024 #InternationalWomensDay #Intersectionality #Woman #Disabled #Neurodivergent #Queer

Hey #Brilliantly Community! 🌟 As we celebrate International Women's Month, let's reflect on the incredible progress we've made in advancing women's rights over the past century. 🧡 In the last 100 years, women have gained the right to vote, own property, open bank accounts, and work in various industries. These rights are not just milestones; they're powerful symbols of the strength and resilience of women throughout history. To continue this progress, we can support women in various ways. We can advocate for equal pay for equal work, offer mentorship and sponsorship opportunities, and promote family-friendly workplace policies. Practicing amplification by crediting women for their ideas and contributions can also ensure their voices are heard and respected. 🔊 Let's use this month as a reminder of the importance of supporting women in our lives and in our enterprises. Together, let's continue to push for progress and create a more inclusive and equitable world for all. Here's to strong women: may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them. 💪🚀 #InternationalWomensMonth #WomenEmpowerment #Equality #BeBrilliantlyBeYou #IWM #Empowerment #FemaleFounded #FemaleFounders #WomeninBusiness #FemTech

The @City of Kitchener’s #EconomicDevelopment team is attending an International Women’s Day (IWD) Breakfast held by the Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce. The United Nations has decided this year's theme as 'Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress' is aimed at tackling economic disempowerment. Our 2024 theme is #InspireInclusion. This day aims to fight for women's rights and establish equality. IWD has always been associated with the color purple. Leveraging these powerful hashtags on IWD is more than just being social; it's about joining a global chorus advocating for equality, celebrating achievements, and pushing for change. I’m going to keep it simple: I’m coined as a strong, independent woman. I’d like to credit these qualities to my mamma, an Italian immigrant to Canada who did not speak the language but was determined to speak ESL, she was fierce, resilient and especially driven to assimilate into the Canadian culture. She showed love of others through food. She raised me to be open-minded, curious, educated, hard-working, financially independent, cultured, and empathetic (professionally, socially and personally). Cheers to my mamma Maria and to all changemaker women who dream big and inspire! #InternationalWomensDay, #WomensDay, #IWD2024, #WomenEmpowerment, #GirlPower, #Feminism, #WomenSupportingWomen, #WomenInLeadership, #WomenInSTEM, #GenderEquality, #HeForShe, #EmpowerHer, #BalanceForBetter, #EachforEqual, #ChooseToChallenge, #ChallengeAccepted, #WomenInBusiness, #WomenInTech, #WomenWhoLead, #InspiringWomen, #WomenEntrepreneurs, #StrongWomen, #WomenWithPurpose, #WomenInspiringWomen, #PowerfulWomen, #WomenWorldwide, #GlobalGirlhood, #SheLeads, #WomenInArt, #WomenInScience, #WomenInPolitics, #WomenInSports, #Feminist, #WomenRights, #WomenInCulture, #LeadLikeAWoman, #WomenInEducation, #WomenInnovation, #WomenInHistory, #BreakingTheBias, #WomenInFilm, #WomenInMusic, #WomenInLiterature, #WomenInMedia, #WomenInFashion, #WomenInPhotography, #SupportWomen, #EmpowerWomen, #CelebrateWomen, #MotivationForWomen, #WomenInHealth, #WomenInEngineering, #WomenMakingHistory, #WomenInNonProfits, #WomenInEnvironment, #WomenInJustice, #WomenPeacekeepers, #WomenHumanRightsDefenders, #WomenForChange, #WomenUnite, #EmpoweringGirls, #GirlLeaders, #WomenInAgriculture, #WomenInTheBoardroom, #WomenInDesign, #WomenInResearch, #WomenInDevelopment, #WomenInActivism, #WomenInCommunity, #WomenInDiplomacy, #WomenInVolunteering, #FutureIsFemale, #SheDecides, #ShePersists, #TimeIsNow, #GenerationEquality, #WomenInControl, #WomenInCreativity, #WomenInDance, #WomenInTheatre, #WomenForWomen, #Sisterhood, #FeministArt, #WomenInComedy, #WomenInFilmMaking, #WomenInEntrepreneurship, #WomenInLeadershipRoles, #WomenEmpoweringWomen, #WomenInPublicService, #WomenInScienceAndTech, #WomenInSpace, #WomenInAdvocacy, #WomenInPhilanthropy, #WomenInLaw, #WomenInJournalism, #WomenInSustainability, #WomenInFinance, #WomenInBeauty
