The power of doing quality work & delivering a great experience! Quick story... I was talking to one of my college buddies/fraternity brother a few months ago. We got to talking a bit about work, he said he was looking to get some sales training for his team, a national team with some very senior/experienced reps. I immediately tell him about Clint Babcock (Sandler) & the experience I had working with him. I partnered with Clint at my last company - probably close to 10 years ago now. 🏈 Get Ready for More Football 🏈 The NFL Playoffs take center stage this month, beginning with the Wild Card Weekend (this Saturday, Sunday and Monday); then Divisional Games (1/20-1/21), followed by the Conference Championships (1/28). Short of the Super Bowl, these weekends represent the last opportunities for restaurants to cater to NFL fans. Here are some ideas to keep your restaurant in the game for the playoffs: 1️⃣ Create targeted emails for each weekend, and use language to convey urgency. 2️⃣ Promote the games on your TVs. 3️⃣ Pre-sell reservations in your bar or viewing area for larger groups. 4️⃣ Create specialty cocktails or promotions around local NFL teams in the playoffs. (For example, a "Miami Mimosa” or a "Kansas City Kool Aid.”). 5️⃣ Create a menu available only during the playoffs. 6️⃣ Promote your takeout menu for guests watching at home. 7️⃣ Create bounce-back specials. (Dine with us for any NFL playoff game and get a free beer or wine during other games, or for a visit in February.) 8️⃣ Get creative with other promotions, like door prizes, spontaneous giveaways, drawings, or limited-time rewards for loyalty members who visit before the Super Bowl.
