Didn't want to miss showcasing this approval as it is another huge win for Woodbridge and the whole region. On January 17th the Woodbridge Planning Board approved 235 Residential Units, a new medical office/office building and new restaurant space at the Metropark Station. Stonefield Engineering & Design provided Traffic Engineering and Professional Planning expertise for Russo Development on this transformational project. In addition to the new mixed-use development right on this NJ Transit/Amtrak hub, there will be traffic improvements including new and updated traffic signals, changes that will provide for a more efficient bus circulation and parking layout, and station improvements to one of the most undervalued transit hubs. This project represents one of those ideal private-public partnerships between a developer, Township, and State Agency. Upon completion, we leave something behind, either roads or serviced plots. In my case in the housing department, we leave a family with a home that's never owned a house before. And for me that is a lasting effect. We start with vacant land and we develop that into a community.
