Several members of our team had an amazing time serving the kids at Emerald Youth this past Wednesday! It is always a truly rewarding experience to give back, connect with the community, and see the smiles on their faces. We're already looking forward to next time!

"The first thing we ask is 'what's going on?'" - Crystal E. Brown-Garrant We understand that no two communities are the same, so instead of delivering one-size-fits-all solutions, we start by listening—gathering insights and understanding what works best to protect our kids. This method ensures that our 'Know The Signs' programs, like 'Start With Hello' and 'Say Something' are tailored to create lasting, meaningful impact in preventing violence and fostering stronger connections.

We will have eight families this year move into a home they own, not rent. These are first time, often first generation, homeowners. Eight families. Over 20 children. Children who will grow up thinking owning a home is normal, not some pipe dream. Come join us as we move toward our goal of adding 300 engaged home owners in North Chicago to create the tipping point in community revitalization. https://lnkd.in/grGAQBbm

A CIO with Transformation expertise and an innate understanding of how technology can position a company for success
During my time at @Life Without Barriers, I’ve learned that fostering can come in many forms. Providing care doesn’t have to be full-time; it can be providing a safe space for a young person for a couple of nights or one weekend each month. When it comes to fostering, no two children or families are the same; that’s why Life Without Barriers doesn’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. Think outside the box and learn more about the diverse ways you could make a difference here: https://lnkd.in/gMUF6SGc

💙 It's Kinship Caregiver Month, a time to honor those stepping in to care for children when they need it most! This year, the Annie E. Casey Foundation highlighted that over 50% of children in Arizona’s foster care system are in kinship placements, making AZ a top state for kinship care. Let's give our thanks to these caregivers and continue to push for policies that support their success. Key actions include reducing barriers to licensing, providing equitable financial support, and recognizing the needs of unlicensed caregivers. Our 2023 annual report launch reinforced how the people at COPE Galway hold the client at the heart of all that we do. We never forget that each of the 3,427 children, teens and adults we supported last year are members of our community, our friendships and our families. Read more about their stories and the impact of our work by downloading our annual report here. https://lnkd.in/etBkZpDr #COPEGalwayAnnualReport #COPEGalwayAR23

Wise words contained in this post. Check it out!
This is what collective impact looks like! We cannot do the the work we do alone! We cannot make infinite impact being siloed and disengaged from community. We acknowledge that in order to provide safe, nurturing spaces for boys and masculine-identified youth, we need support. Using a data driven approach, we have worked with Lance Meeks to identify and hold spaces in communities that need them most. Thank you Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona for your partnership and committment!
