A Better Cyber Service - War on the Rocks "2024 will mark the fifth year of America’s newest military service, the Space Force. Its success has led to increased calls for a new service for the Department of Defense’s fifth recognized domain of warfare, cyberspace. These calls have grown so loud as to have reached the point where current U.S. Senate proposals for the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act include a provision that will task the Department of Defense to study the possibility of an independent cyber force." To generate its operational effects, a high-end naval warship will carry a range of state-of-the-art, automation-focused and information technology (IT)-based weapons and sensors. An ICEYE article is out in a Korean defense specialty monthly publication, "Defense & Technology". 국방과기술 I wrote about ICEYE'S evolving capabilities, world's largest and growing constellation, advanced image modes, and opportunities that Korea can take advantage of for its national security and defense against threats. The problem is that mental and moral malware ("woke" is just one small instantiation of the malware) is already installed in the majority (at minimum half & I would suggest closer to 95%) of the US and Western populations. Any adversary who understands this and knows how to simply invoke that Psyche Malware or access the Psyche API can easily create push button riots, manipulate elections, distract public discourse, destroy brands overnight, wipe billions of goodwill off the books, and create panics and tank markets. This malware also shows up as pockets, basins and reservoirs of weaponized entropy. That entropy can be easily be harnessed and redirected for all of the same purposes and much more. Literally from a keyboard. To point that "Keyboard Warrior" is no longer an insult but an MOS.

Yes, there has been visible progress on development and manufacture of some defence equipment including war planes during the last six years. Still critical war planes and other defence equivalents are procured from developed countries like US, USSR, France, etc. What is now critically needed is to move on indigenous development and manufacture of equipment and components with quality at par with international standards. We need to give special attention on development of advanced war fighter planes. Old fighter planes needs to be monitored for safety and utility perspectives in view of new developments in the area.

Are you organized (people) , structured (processes), and most importantly prioritized (resourced) for this? 2. Do you have the necessary access and placement in BOTH human and cyber networks? 3. Are the authorities and permissions at the correct level to act decisively and in a timely manner when needed? 4.
