Quoting from some of the release material: Broad Clinical Labs has been systematically researching the accuracy of variant calls made by DRAGEN v4.3. Marina DiStefano, PhD, FACMG, associate lab director at Broad Clinical Labs, said: "We generated whole-genome sequence data from samples with confirmed calls in genes covered by DRAGEN v4.3 specialized callers, such as PMS2, NEB, and HBA, and from samples with orthogonally confirmed CNV calls. We also analyzed very-high-coverage WGS samples for mosaic evaluation. We are happy with the accuracy and speed and believe that DRAGEN v4.3 is a powerful tool for our clinical whole-genome research."

Meet Katarina Vučićević, a full professor at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Pharmacy. With an extensive background in #academia and #ClinicalResearch, Prof. Katarina’s expertise lies in #pharmacometric modeling and simulations. Her overarching objective is to personalize dosing regimens and enhance patient outcomes by implementing complex PKPD models as user-friendly tools in everyday #ClinicalPractice. She received the award Leader of 2023 from the Fulbright and Friends Association for Scientific Excellence.   In her latest research, a population pharmacokinetic model was developed to characterize the absorption process of CLO and its conversion to CLO-CA. This May is dedicated to ALS Awareness. Redenlab scientists continue working towards strengthening evidence for tracking treatment response in ALS with pharma and international consortia. Our involvement in ALS natural history studies and an understanding of what matters to regulators can aid further clinical outcomes. ALS is a severe disease affecting brain areas essential for communication and safe eating, with varying motor speech deficits influenced by progression rate, genetic factors, and initial impairment site, and new treatments are being trialed annually. Redenlab's experience in FDA Type C and EMA CHMP meetings can assess the suitability of clinical outcomes for efficacy trials. They understand that not all COAs are equal and that the study phase can influence the appropriateness of different outcomes.
