Each summer our interns in central Ohio volunteer with a local organization to give back to the community. This year, they worked with the Worthington Resource Pantry, an organization who connects families with healthy foods and other resources. Interns unloaded a truck of dry goods that will go to local families in need. We are proud to offer our interns a well-rounded experience that shows what it means to uphold our operating Philosophy.     The first week of summer vacation for my kids is here. We're gearing up for summer camps and activities. This time of year takes me back to my college internship, where I ran sports camps for the local YMCA. We started and ended each day by reviewing the core values: Caring Respect Honesty Responsibility. We would talk about these as we opened the day, and at the end of the day, we would ask if anyone saw any of the campers displaying these behaviors. Those who did were rewarded with a little prize and a round of applause. If organizations reward and recognize core values, they will continue to permeate through the organization. Think about what behaviors are being rewarded and emulated and which ones you want to be magnified.

    Our internship program provides students and recent graduates the skills and experience they need to begin building their careers. Today, we’re highlighting our current U.S. interns in Houston and San Ramon who attended our social events at the Houston Astros and Oakland Athletics games. Our program expands beyond the U.S. with interns working in 22 global regions, and we currently support more than 800 interns globally.
