My conversation with Runway of Dreams & Gamut Management's Founder & CEO Mindy Scheier is now LIVE! Mindy taught me you don't need to travel too far to find inspiration and impact. And her passion is infectious! After we finishe recording, I had to evaluate how else I can further shine a light on all of the great work Mindy and my other guests are doing to make this world a better and more familiar place. My key takeaway from this converastion: Stick to your purpose, cherish each moment. On the ambitious path, life might meander, but staying true to your purpose is the ultimate reward! It's also impressive to see all the brands Mindy and her teams are working with to bring adaptive products to the market for people with disabilities. A recent Association of National Advertisers article discussed how brands, like Mattel, Inc. & Procter & Gamble have entered the adaptive products space (Anne Field) with more slated to enter; according to the CDC, 1 in 4 US Adults identify with having some sort of disability. https://lnkd.in/eSV6TXKy

📢📢📢📢 If I could turn my podcast into a Times Square billboard, I would—just to share Elissa’s story and the incredible impact she’s having on the cancer-fighting community. Service is a core value, both personally and for this show (perhaps under ‘people,’ Carrie) The big question is: how can WE help? This is Elissa’s MO. And you hear it through her Good Morning America segment 👇🏼 I can't wait to sit down with her and spread the word about the amazing work she and the WeGotThis.org team are doing to support cancer thrivers, survivors, and their loved ones.
My mission is to make the biggest impact in my lifetime that I possibly can. I want everyone to know that we deserve to live and thrive, not just survive. While cancer prompted me to embrace this more, cancer is not a prerequisite to prioritizing living life to the fullest. Thank you, Good Morning America, for highlighting WeGotThis.org and helping us make huge strides towards that goal today. Thank you Ronica Cleary and Cleary Strategies for making this dream come true 🙌🏻 https://lnkd.in/eR8e_A2w

Thank you, E.B. Moss for sharing. This is what life is about doing good while doing well. Living by a golden rule. Setting the example for ourselves and the people around us. This is how legacies are built for future generations. Titles and $ are ephemeral Impacting other people lasts forever I highly recommend watching Evan Shapīro’s speech 👇🏼
Pay It Forward Over a decade ago, I co-founded an organization called One Diverse Industry with Dolly Wolf. Our mission is to create a more diverse and inclusive media industry by providing marginalized and underrepresented students access to our industry’s current leaders. Last week, we held our annual conference, with amazing students and wonderful panelists from the across the industry. There I received ODI's Lifetime Appreciation award. So I spoke about my grandfather, Jules, who taught me life's most important lesson - which IMHO seems to matter more now in our industry than ever. Give a listen if you have a minute. If it strikes a chord, check out ODI and maybe pay it forward. https://lnkd.in/etmQxhzk
