Why is no one looking at the 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 as a 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁? Building a highly effective hiring process requires a few things: • High ability to predict future job performance • Candidate experience • Hiring Manager experience • Measurability, and scalability When adapting to a product mindset, you are forced to: • 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮: In product management it's imperative to understand how your product is performing. • 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Building great products that users enjoy, requires focus on the user experience. • 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Building a product means constantly pushing innovation, iterating on the product in close collaboration with the end-users. All of the above are absolutely critical when building a highly successful hiring process. I've shared how our team began using AI to automate repetitive tasks, allowing our team to focus more on strategic initiatives. The next step for us has been developing bots that engage with our customers to boost productivity. Our internal team at Ghost developed a bot on WhatsApp, aimed at facilitating inventory submissions for our mobile cohort of sellers. Traditionally, the onboarding process could be cumbersome for some of these sellers that are always on their phones, involving a series of steps and forms to fill out. But with this new solution, sellers can now seamlessly submit their inventory simply by conversing with a chatbot. We've seen a huge increase in TSV (Total Supply Value) coming from these sellers. We're continually exploring new ways to leverage AI and automation to enhance our operations, from customer success to data analysis and beyond.
