Using a connected camera and telematic system allows you to understand how your fleet is running and your drivers are behaving. This article, written by Deirdre O’Reilly from National Highways, explains the factors that go into how a driver drives. She explains that there are individual, social and material factors that influence the behaviour of a driver. https://lnkd.in/edyxzJEn The individual driver, the vehicle, the equipment the vehicle has on it, the other road users, and the road itself can have an impact on the way a someone is driving. Having sight of what's going on around the vehicle, as well as information via connected systems on what the vehicle is doing, helps you to manage your fleet more efficiently, allowing you to inform training, change the behavioural factors of drivers that you can affect, and teach about the factors that you can't change. Who's doing the cleaning in warehouse? Well I think this is one of the toughest question for all the management. Very interesting conversations in the past few weeks while we perform what CC1 can solve for the cleaning burden, what I found out is, there's no standard arrangement for the cleaning! What's most common is, "It's a warehouse, no one cares about sweeping or scrubbing, it gets dirty every day." Some will say the junior will have to do the cleaning, but after 2 days of cleaning they will claim to be senior enough don't have to clean 🤣 To engage third party is unnecessary for many as it becomes a cost that couldn't be justified efficiently. Fortunately have the answer for all of them. The Virtual Mill, a virtual environment, developed by Elomatic and Valmet enables factory workers to explore their work environments virtually. 👩🏭🖥 Virtual environment for the factory enables various training contents, such as animations and interactivity.
