A truly persuasive speech doesn’t just inform—it resonates. It touches something deep within the audience, sparking emotion, connection, and action. The art of speechwriting lies in understanding your listeners' hopes, fears, and aspirations and weaving them into a personal narrative. It’s about finding the right words that make people feel seen, understood, and inspired. Whether it’s a story that brings a tear, a call to action that ignites passion, or a shared vision that unites, the power of words can create change that lingers long after the applause fades. What story are you telling to move hearts and minds? #SpotlightContentMarketing #Speechwriting #Leadership #Storytelling #HumanConnection

Leadership is about more than just guiding a team—it's about fostering an environment of inclusiveness where everyone feels valued and empowered. It's essential to involve every team member, giving them responsibilities that align with their strengths and encouraging them to step out of their comfort zones. I want to share a personal story that highlights this. About four years ago, I was given the opportunity to become the editor of a monthly journal for the commerce industry. Initially, I refused, feeling that I wasn't capable of such a role. However, my colleagues encouraged me to give it a try, assuring me of their support and the structure in place. Despite my initial doubts, I decided to take on the challenge. Through this experience, I learned an immense amount about writing, editing, and managing a journal. It helped me grow in ways I never imagined and proved that stepping out of my comfort zone was worth it. Today, I feel confident in my abilities as an editor, and it has become one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. This experience taught me the importance of encouraging others to take on new challenges and believe in their potential. How do you foster inclusiveness and growth within your teams? I’d love to hear your experiences and strategies. #Leadership #Inclusiveness #GrowthMindset

"For sale: baby shoes, never worn." is a six-word story, popularly attributed to Ernest Hemingway. The apocryphal tale of its origin has Hemingway wagering fellow writers $10 that he could write a short story only six words. More important than the story’s provenance is its design. When setting out to write a story, most people consider that it should be clear and rich with detail. In corporate learning, where I do a lot of my work, there’s a temptation for a story to be laden with detail and do the job of delivering information. What’s clear in this enduring example is that you don’t need to share too much of a story to achieve engagement. In management, stories work to get people thinking. You want them thinking about the right thing, but you don’t want them to feel you are telling them what to think. Story can bring people to a subject, give it meaning and help people to reflect on it and to be motivated to learn more. That is the strength of story in management, don’t overburden it. #storytelling #culture #Storytelling #Leadership #Management #Communication #Learning #EmployeeEngagement #HR

This is how I create a voice Framework for my clients. Without creating a voice framework your content will be 🥀Soulless Sound inauthentic And will remain inconsistent. As a result, you will lose your client earlier than you expect. So invest your time properly if you want to retain your clients. These are easy steps to do… 🔹Voice Audit Review past content (Likes, dislikes, Reposts). Deeply notice recurring word choices and tone. 🔹Tone Mapping Use a questionnaire to ask direct questions about the desired tone. 🔹Content Alignment Deeply understand the client's key goals (educational, promotional, thought leadership). 🔹Feedback Loop Provide an early draft, ask questions about tone and word choices, and then fine-tune) 🔹Consistency Check Create a style guide based on all the above processes and continuously improve and update. P.S. Do you think any step can be skipped? #mindsetshift #ghostwriter #leadership #professionaldevelopment #inspiration #worklife #weekendvibes

Why should leaders learn from screenwriters? "The other way to persuade people—and ultimately a much more powerful way—is by uniting an idea with an emotion. The best way to do that is by telling a compelling story. In a story, you not only weave a lot of information into the telling but you also arouse your listener’s emotions and energy. Persuading with a story is hard. Any intelligent person can sit down and make lists. It takes rationality but little creativity to design an argument using conventional rhetoric. But it demands vivid insight and storytelling skill to present an idea that packs enough emotional power to be memorable. If you can harness imagination and the principles of a well-told story, then you get people rising to their feet amid thunderous applause instead of yawning and ignoring you." https://lnkd.in/gNGdaiiq #storytelling #narrative #businesscommunications #strategiccomms #strategy #buyin #stakeholders #screenwriters
