|| Hamari Soch - Vision || #anumeenacare At our nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to addressing the growing gap between people, animals, and nature. Our mission revolves around three main pillars: fostering harmony among humans, protecting animal welfare, and preserving the natural environment. Human activities have significantly impacted both animals and nature, leading to a disturbing imbalance that threatens the well-being of all three. We believe it is crucial to bridge this gap and restore equilibrium. Through our initiatives, we strive to promote sustainable practices, raise awareness about the interconnectedness of all life forms, and advocate for policies that support coexistence. By working collaboratively with communities, governments, and other organizations, we aim to create a world where people, animals, and nature can thrive together. Our commitment is to ensure that our efforts not only protect but also enhance the delicate balance that sustains our planet. #anumeenacare #nonprofits #communityengagement #vision #ngo #giveback #helpingothers #love

As more people are exploring our website and making profiles to start volunteering in the community, we'd like to continue the Intro to Volunteer Peterborough 105. We have a lot of volunteer opportunities on the site, and we know that very few of you have the time to browse through every single one to assess if it's something you can or want to do. That's why we have these wonderful filters. If you have an account, the filters automatically recommend the best possible matches for you, although you are free to check out what else is available. "Skills Requested" is self explanatory. You can scroll through the list and tick every sill you bring to the table. Cleaning, Animal Care, and Handling Money, for example. These preferred skills may match you up with a one-shot "Clean Jackson Creek" or a weekly "help look after the Squirrels at Squirrel Haven Rescue." And there's no rules stating you can't sign up for both! "Causes Benefitted" further narrows the options. If your passion is the environment, it will pull out all the agencies that are endeavouring to save the planet. Combining the Causes and Skills will get very specific results! Again, it's our goal to make selecting opportunities as quick and painless as setting up a playlist. By stating your preferences up front, we make recommendations that match those preferences. Because your time is valuable. We want you to make the most of it. Peruse what's available today! https://buff.ly/3rsamzk Remember: It's ALWAYS FREE for Volunteers! #VolunteerRecruitment #VolunteerHours #CommunityBuilding #Tutorial

We are excited to share an opportunity through the Funders Collaborative Hub, hosted by Association of Charitable Foundations to identify and bring together grant makers active in the animal welfare space. The Battersea Grants Team, began making grants to other organisations in 2018, and we are keen to connect with other grant makers working to improve the lives of companion animals and their families. This is not easy work, and the problems and needs are so vast. At Battersea we believe in the power of collaboration and are looking for peers to exchange best practice and debate how we can adapt and work together to achieve greater impact. We know why this work is so important, but how we do it is equally as important. So if you are a grant maker working in this space, and want to exchange ideas, lessons learnt and explore collaborative opportunities...or are just curious, please take a look at this opportunity 🐶 🐈 https://lnkd.in/et2USeJz

Are you a grassroots nonprofit leader or founder looking to make a larger impact? Take inspiration from the Mississippi Forestry Association. Their successful advocacy and awareness strategies are anchored in education - teaching landowners, legislators, and the public about forestry's essential role in Mississippi's economy. As leaders in nonprofits, we too carry a similar responsibility to articulate the significance of our missions to our communities. Collaboration is crucial too. By fostering partnerships, we amplify our ability to bring change! Remember, the best stories aren't just told, they are shared. And the best connections are born from a shared passion and understanding. Let's reach out, educate, collaborate and weave our stories into the fabric of our communities! #GiveHopeDaily #NonprofitCollaboration #EducateToElevate #NonprofitMarketingSolutions

Poll Shows Strong Support for Strengthening Sage-Grouse Habitat Protections Hunters and anglers have long known that sage grouse conservation benefits many species in the sagebrush steppe. It turns out the majority of Western voters also want to strengthen sage grouse conservation! A recent poll conducted by The Pew Charitable Trusts shows overwhelming support for bolstering Bureau of Land Management safeguards for greater sage-grouse habitat. The BLM is amending its sage-grouse plans to consider new science in determining how to best conserve sage-grouse habitat on public lands across 10 Western states. The survey found robust support for BLM’s planning effort in rural counties where the iconic bird is found. Read more about the report at https://lnkd.in/gWB3qJRP

🌟 Attention Animal Services Professionals! 🌟 If you want to build staying power for the innovative animal services programs you're creating, community support is crucial. A strong public image not only boosts volunteer recruitment but also encourages donations. Additionally, honest, straightforward, and routine communication with community residents and elected officials helps prevent the spread of misinformation. According to the Harvard Business Review, there are four primary components to effecting change: 1️⃣ Clearly communicate the current reality. 2️⃣ Break down changes into micro-changes: smaller, achievable steps. 3️⃣ Truly listen to others' perspectives and fears about change. 4️⃣ Check progress with your team and make any needed adjustments. 💡 Want to learn more about growing in your animal services career and lifesaving programs? Bring excellence home with our "Finding Success in Animal Services" course starting August 28. 🐾 Grant Writing for Our Four-Legged Homeless Friends 🐾 As animal lovers, we know how important it is to support the organizations that give homeless pets a second chance at life. Behind every successful shelter or rescue program is a team of dedicated grant writers working hard to secure the funding needed to provide food, shelter, medical care, and forever homes for our furry friends. Grant writing can be a powerful tool for nonprofits focused on animal welfare. By identifying and applying for the right funding opportunities, we can ensure that shelters and rescue groups have the resources they need to make an even greater impact. Here are a few tips for writing winning grants for animal-related organizations: 1. Tell a Compelling Story – Show the personal side of your work by sharing heartwarming stories of the animals you’re helping. 2. Back It Up with Data – Include statistics on how many animals are helped and the positive outcomes of your organization’s programs. 3. Focus on Sustainability – Funders want to know how their contributions will make a lasting impact. Outline a clear plan for how the funds will be used. 4. Highlight Community Partnerships – Demonstrate how your organization collaborates with local groups, veterinarians, and volunteers to create a broader safety net for homeless animals. Let’s continue working together to support our four-legged homeless friends and make a difference, one grant at a time. 🐶🐱 #GrantWriting #AnimalWelfare #Nonprofits #HomelessPets #FurryFriends #Shelters #RescueOrganizations #FundingForGood
