How many subscriptions do you pay for to stream all of your favorite shows? Does it add up to over $100? As a solution, many consumers are watching their TV now on FAST channels (free ad-supported streaming television) as relief for subscription fatigue. They provide a wide array of content - for free! PR Newswire shares FAST even has a spot in the top 10 most consumed TV providers (special shoutout to Tubi 👏). And the perk? We know commercials shown on FAST channels yield a great response - just as responsive as other media networks. 📈

People are gravitating toward FAST (free ad-supported TV) for several compelling reasons: it’s free, it offers the content that they like, and the experience is reminiscent of traditional TV. While cable and network news still dominate overall news consumption across TV and streaming, FAST is carving out a significant niche for itself. In the first half of 2024, a quarter of all news-watching households were reached exclusively through FAST while 19% were reached both by FAST and cable/network news.
