Rural & Regional: Setting up state-of-the-art therapy centres that support children with disabilities and their families in rural and regional areas. Youth Programs: Curated programs that empower teenagers and young adults with disabilities to tackle new challenges and experience the best life possible. +more! Brace yourselves, because I'm about to tackle over 1000kms in a week—all in the name of raising vital funds for Starlight Children's Foundation Australia & Monash Children's Hospital. "Why would anyone subject themselves to such madness?" No idea - I'm fat and unfit at the moment. So, why am I putting myself through this grueling journey? I felt completely hopeless when faced with the very real prospect of losing my daughters, Maddy and Issy before they even entered this world due to complex pregnancy issues and the need for foetal operations. Those days were filled with fear, uncertainty, and a profound sense of isolation. Thanks to the remarkable medical professionals and a stroke of luck, both Maddy and Issy defied the odds and made it through (1kg pocket rockets). That experience changed me forever. I don't want another parent to endure that gut-wrenching feeling of helplessness and despair. And that's where you come in. Can't resist sharing this very encouraging news cum example to emulate in our lives too. I am a firm believer that "Education" is the single most important avenue to invest and the most powerful tool to develop a progressive society. If the Governments all around the globe and philanthropist around us help the masses accessing the most potent weapon against poverty, world would definitely be a better place to live. In a country where more than 26 million school- going- age kids are out of school, this is incumbent upon us to help the masses through initiative like TCF etc. #education, #tcf

This is INCREDIBLE 💚 What an amazing idea, and I love that this was at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine - for it was he, who aptly said that "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results" This was the quote I used in my article only last week and it's vital we start doing things differently! The current status quo, the current ways of working, are clearly no longer working - evident all around us in the workplace, in society, and globally. We need to start changing the system! I am a decade old doctor and still paying off my student debt (which is over >30k and probably growing thanks to inflation, but still far less than what younger doctors and medical students will owe...) This REBELLIOUS idea and LEADERS like this, is what the world needs right now. Do you agree? What do you think we need to start changing quickly and drastically?
