Porsche's Sound Mark Attempt: A Journey Through Innovation and Challenge! Luxury car manufacturer Porsche recently made headlines by attempting to trademark the distinct 16-second sound of its revving engine. However, the EU Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) rejected the application, citing that the sound wasn’t distinctive enough to indicate a specific commercial origin. Designed cars with compelling value for money by ✅️ing the right boxes-Design, Features,Technology,Safety,Affordability, Fit & Finish and now something that cannot be displayed as tangible aspect in showrooms ....the reliability. They addressed it with 10 year and Million KM warranty. These brands were considered as underdogs while repairing brand, positioning and marketing strategies of legacy premium car brands. The Chinese have put their weakness first to correct immediately and strategically by attracting leading car designers to move their address to China for designing best cars and mentoring budding Chinese designers( strategic long term). These brands have now gaining global competetive position as challenger brands to legacy brands.
