Our experienced and dedicated #exploration team, led by Andrew Stewart is operating 3 diamond drill rigs, in pursuit of new discoveries outside the recently upgraded Kharmagtai #copper #gold Mineral Resource. It includes Xanadu Mines Ltd deep exploration programme; focused on #delivering high-impact discoveries (high-grade and large-scale mineralisation) at depth, and analogous to Oyu Tolgoi LLC / Оюу толгой ХХК Hugo North deposit (regarded as one of the world's highest-grade copper discoveries). Deep drilling programme comprises 8,000m planned + 6,000m contingent on success, with promising assays from first 2 (of 4 planned holes), delivering: 1. 600m down-dip extension to Kharmagtai’s largest deposit, White Hill, including - Several zones grading 0.73% CuEq, and - Importantly providing vectors to target high-grade at depth, with - Further high priority #drilling earmarked. 2. Two broad zones of porphyry and tourmaline breccia mineralisation between Stockwork Hill and Zaraa deposits, including - Higher grade of up to 0.89% CuEq, and - Likely on the edges of a very large-scale copper gold system, with - Additional #exploration work planned post full interpretation. We are very excited to test the deep targets we’ve geologically modelled, and look forward to sharing more results soon. Deep exploration success could transform Kharmagtai, which is already poised to become Mongolia’s next large scale copper mining operation. Stelar Metals Ltd (ASX:SLB) is making progress with exploration at the Trident Lithium Project near Broken Hill in Far West NSW, revealing the presence of substantial new pegmatite formations to the south of the project. Findings from the company's geological mapping and surface sampling highlight the discovery of two major zoned pegmatites, named Pilgrim and Sabre. Pilgrim extends around 2 kilometres north-south with widths up to 500 metres and Sabre stretches 4 kilometres east-west with widths reaching up to 700 metres. An additional strike length of 3.2 kilometres, termed Trident North, has also been mapped, extending the known mineralised zone north of the previously drilled Trident area and linking with Mount Euriowie. This extension represents a significant increase in the potential lithium-bearing footprint of the area. We've identified multiple new lithium, gold and base metal targets at our Opaline Well Project in Western Australia. A hyperspectral study of our Opaline Project revealed excellent lithium targets in pegmatites, including linear features within granitoids. We've also identified several gold and base metal targets by processing hyperspectral data to define hydrothermal alteration minerals, which correlate well with historical mining centres along the tenement's strike. We anticipate conducting mapping and geochemical sampling during the 2024 field season. Executive Director Lindsay Franker commented: “The hyperspectral survey has returned exciting results at our Opaline Well Project. This cutting-edge technology has revealed a swarm of potential pegmatite targets, indicating significant lithium potential within the tenement. We have also discovered numerous hydrothermal alteration anomalies that indicate gold and base metal mineralisation, which corresponds to historical workings in the region. These findings represent a significant step forward in our exploration efforts, highlighting Opaline Well's potential. We look forward to the upcoming field season, when we'll conduct detailed mapping and geochemical sampling programs to validate these targets." Coverage stock Rimfire Pacific Mining Limited (ASX: RIM) has just commenced a 4,000 metre aircore drilling program at the Murga Scandium Prospect, 70km northwest of Parkes within the highly prospective Lachlan Orogen of central NSW. Scandium is now included in both Australia’s 2023 Critical Minerals List and the United States Geological Survey’s (USGS) 2022 List of 50 mineral commodities critical to the economy and national security of both countries. More broadly, the recent purchase by Rio Tinto of the Owendale Scandium Project (which lies 10km north of Murga and Melrose) for up to $US14 million, highlights growing market interest in Australian scandium projects. The acquisition aligns with Rio Tinto’s strategic goal to grow in materials essential for the low-carbon transition. As the demand for cleaner, lighter, and more durable materials continues to rise, Rio expects the use of scandium to continue to grow along with this demand. The Owendale acquisition also follows the establishment of a dedicated Rio Tinto scandium business unit called Element 21 North. At Murga, scandium occurs within a strongly weathered horizon overlying magnetic ultramafic (pyroxenite) intrusive rocks of the Ordovician-age Murga Intrusive Complex, which are interpreted to be part of a large scale arcuate shaped mafic – ultramafic intrusive complex that has a surface area of ~20 sq km. There is little or no nickel and / or cobalt anomalism associated with the scandium, which is curious given that other scandium occurrences within the area (i.e., RIM’s Melrose prospect and Sunrise Energy Metals’ adjacent Sunrise nickel cobalt scandium deposit) are all associated with elevated levels of nickel and cobalt. Regionally, Murga is just one of several critical minerals prospects (i.e. Melrose, Currajong, Forrest View, and Kars) that lie within a +50km long belt of volcaniclastics, sediments and mafic - ultramafic intrusive units that form a geologically significant large-scale structure called the “Fifield Ultramafic Zone.” #scandium #commodities #resources #exploration #equities

Golden Metal Resources Plc (AIM:GMET) shares were on the front foot on Tuesday, up around 10% in early deals, after the explorer reported significant gold-silver-copper findings at its wholly owned Garfield project in Nevada. The company, in a statement, highlighted “bonanza grades” in its project update – measuring up to 1,225 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, including 18.35g/t gold and 1.89% copper. Specifically, it said it sees confirmation of significant porphyry and epithermal potential in the area. "The results announced today are highly significant as we have gone from high-grade copper-gold-silver results achieved over a large footprint to now multiple overlapping geological datasets which strongly confirm the presence of a significant porphyry style system driving mineralisation across the project,” chief executive Oliver Friesen said. Raiden Resources Limited (ASX:RDN) has confirmed the discovery of a new high-priority lithium target from its ongoing exploration at the Andover South Lithium Project, labelled target zone 7. "One of the key objectives of the follow up mapping program was to determine the extent of target area 1 along the western strike extent. Target area 1 is the key target for the Company in the upcoming maiden drill program, where pegmatites are characterised by high fractionation and high grade Li2O mineralisation. As a result, we have determined that the highly fractionated pegmatites on the western periphery of Target Area 1 may have been structurally offset, resulting in a north-western strike extent. This work has defined further high-priority targets which the Company will evaluate in the near future." - Raiden Resources Managing Director Dusko Ljubojevic #ASX #ASXNews #Investing #Mining #Lithium Subscribe to the weekly Stock Market Newsletter www.themarketbull.com.au https://lnkd.in/gX-hzKMt
