One last fundraising push before the big event
Local Printing Company Are Going the Extra Mile. The Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity Midnight Walk is on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June. Xpress has 20 people who will join the ten mile walk overnight. Our goal is for employees to raise £3,000 and this will be matched by the company. This will result in a total of at least £6,000. Jack Clark, Director, said recently, “We are not experienced walkers, but we are all committed to doing our part.” If you would like to support this charity, please consider sponsoring our walk here: https://lnkd.in/erbB6GjQ The Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity provides essential care for patients with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, across Buckinghamshire and its borders. As a local company that employs local people, Xpress Labels wants to be a positive force in our community; participating in this walk is one way to show these aspirations. Besides fundraising, Xpress has also helped FNH with free labels for their Forever Flowers initiative at Waddesdon Manor by producing 850 personalised messages that were attached to each of the 850 metal flowers. Lee Lloyd, Head of Fundraising, said, “We are very grateful to have the support of a local business like Xpress Labels for our mission to ensure that hospice care is available to everyone who needs it when they need it. They help us to deliver a service that truly changes people's lives. Thank you, Xpress Labels!” For Xpress Labels, this charity walk is just the beginning, and we plan to continue to integrate ourselves and serve our community in every way possible.
