🚀 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗩𝗧𝗢𝗟 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗝𝗲𝘁? 🚀 At ✈️ ILA Berlin - Pioneering Aerospace, I had the opportunity to experience the #LiliumJet firsthand. Meeting Alberto Caruso, Head of Design at Lilium, and hearing the design story of the aircraft was definitely a highlight of my ILA visit. The mockup itself is impressive, with premium materials and a surprisingly spacious cabin. The thick side walls housing the batteries add a cosy and secure feeling. It featured club seating with two rows of two seats facing each other, a more spacious layout than the six-seater. However, considering the aircraft has such a small door and very tight aisle, a few questions arise: 1️⃣ How long will it take for passengers to board and disembark? 2️⃣ How will passengers get their 🧳 luggage behind the last row of seats? 3️⃣ How will passengers evacuate through a single door in an emergency? 🚪 4️⃣ What is the market size for this high CAPEX and OPEX aircraft? 📊 In conclusion, at ELECTRON aerospace, we also prioritise customer experience, aiming for a car-like travel feel. Yet, our Electron 5 features a full-size cargo door, making entry and exit easy, much like a 🚐 #MercedesVito. The luggage area is accessible from the outside, and our seats are adjustable for car-like comfort. While eVTOLs face certification, cost, and range challenges, we believe it will be eCTOLs that truly unlock the regional air mobility market or short #RAM. #ILA2024 #LiliumJet #AviationInnovation #ELECTRON #eCTOL #eVTOL #RegionalAirMobility #Aerospace #FutureOfTravel #CustomerExperience

Air travel has proven itself as a secure, convenient, and rapid mode of transportation, resulting in a significant increase in passenger numbers. This surge is prompting airline companies to introduce new routes and destinations, driving the demand for upgraded and safe aircraft seats. Additionally, the rise in the adoption of In-flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) is creating lucrative opportunities for vendors in the global aircraft seating industry. Vendors are strategically collaborating to expand their product portfolios and increase their market share in the competitive landscape. However, it's crucial to note that the high initial cost of installing integrated systems in aircraft seating poses a challenge for market development. Winglets have contributed significantly to aircraft performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions reduction in the last few decades. You could say they are turning up everywhere. Whilst Aviation Partners didn't invent winglets, we did dramatically improve the design and performance of winglets. The Blended Winglet, and Spilt Scimitar Winglet, were both designed (and patented) by Aviation Partners. If you are at an airport anywhere in the world today some of the winglets you are looking at are almost certainly ours. Especially given there are approximately 10,000 business and commercial aircraft now wearing them. #WingletWednesday #ThinkWinglets #SustainableAviation #ClimbingFast
