The #1 insight from my journey to find #remote work? #Persistence is your best ally 🏅 When I first set out to land a remote job, I thought my skills and experience would open doors quickly (Engineering degree, working since I was 19, graduating Magna Cum Laude, etc.) But...the journey was longer and more complex than I had anticipated😅 Here's what kept me going: 🔄 Embracing Rejection as Learning Each 'no' was not a stop sign, but a guidepost for improvement. Rejection became a tool for refining my approach, from tweaking my resume to enhancing my interview skills. 🎯 Staying Positive and Proactive Maintaining a positive outlook was essential, even when progress seemed slow. Last month we hired our 15th team member. A few years ago we were a team of 3. Smaller office, smaller projects, smaller profile Since then we’ve got 5x the headcount but we’ve done it on our terms When you have a small team, it’s not worth growing for the sake of it.
