Behind every great business leader... ...there's a whole team responsible for the company's success! Today, I want to give a shoutout to the Market Magai team and all the hard work they do for our clients! I'm so grateful for the community and culture we've built together. I'd say we're like a family, but let's be honest, some of my worst job experiences were at dysfunctional companies that operated like "family". What sets us apart is a culture built on mutual success. We know that a happy and fulfilled team means happy and successful clients. That's why we're so passionate about investing in our team's growth, both professionally and personally. Along with role-specific development, our team has access to the same mindset and business resources we provide for clients! We also have a strict no-work weekends policy. Weekends are for family, fun, and filling our cup! And for those rare times we have client events on weekends, we close the office on Monday to give everyone their time back. But a feel-good culture is nothing when the pay is trash! That's why we believe in a fair and equitable compensation structure, no matter where someone lives in the world. An abundance mindset starts at the top, and that includes paying wages that allow our team to create abundance in their own lives. Our team can even earn commissions by becoming affiliates for our programs as a reward for their belief and passion in what we do. Last week, two members of our marketing team shared similar sentiments after our project meeting. Ericka: "Thank you for the environment here. I feel seen and like you really care about me as a person. I love working here." Puja: "Thank you for investing in our growth, I appreciate that about you - it's like we are all just helping one another win and I like it." That lets me know that we must be doing something right 🥰 What are some ways you intentionally invest in internal customer satisfaction? How do you incorporate team appreciation and development into your company culture?

As I press pause on my career at Citizens Advice Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale and Trafford Advice, I find myself reflecting on an incredible two-year journey filled with transformation and innovation. These years have seen us achieve all-time highs in terms of the number of people we've been able to assist, and at the heart of it all has been our unwavering commitment to a data-first approach. Here are a few key takeaways from our journey: Transparency Is Key: We've learned that being open about our data journey, including our successes and challenges, fosters trust and collaboration within the organization. Transparency encourages buy-in from all stakeholders and ensures that everyone is on the same page. Data Democratization: By making data accessible to all teams and individuals, we've unlocked the full potential of our organization. When people have the tools and knowledge to work with data, innovation can come from unexpected places. Informed Decision-Making: Data-driven decision-making is not just a buzzword; it's a game-changer. Armed with data-backed insights, we've been able to make strategic decisions that have a real impact on our mission. Showcasing Progress: The ability to showcase our progress through data has been invaluable. It not only motivates our teams but also provides a clear picture of the positive changes we're making in the lives of those we serve. We asked Lucy the following questions:   🔎 What is your favourite thing about working at Tekton Billing? It’s been said many times by my colleagues when asked the same question but the people, we really support each other to make sure we succeed. If I can say two, I would also say I love how ZOEY is constantly being improved and how I and my partners are able to make suggestions which are considered and very often deployed. Third would be the collaborative working with our Partners. I often find myself saying “We” as if we work for the same company! 🔎 What do you like to do in your spare time? The usual - I enjoy spending time with family and friends, holidays (just enjoyed some winter sun with the girls), gym / spin classes when I can, and I do love a country walk (and pub)! 🔎 What is something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t done yet? Visit the Italian Coast which I am hoping to next year! 🔎 Fun fact that the rest of the team might not know about you? As a relatively new fundraising manager but a long time gift officer, I felt this in my bones. What are we actually measuring with all of these neverending metrics conversations? Often, things that mean next to nothing and take longer to compile than they are worth. When you look it what is connected to my professional success, it's hard to quantify. But I can tell you meaningful relationships are not measured in cold calls and hours worked. It is sitting with people, addressing their hopes and dreams for their philanthropy, and creating a shared vision of the future.
