"Please get some rest", a sweet message from my leader, this morning. It is 1st May, the #Labour's Day, and a public holiday in Malaysia. I have been on my laptop since morning, by choice. When you love what you do, and commit to giving nothing but your best, you will learn to breathe. I know many of my colleagues and friends are also doing the same as we gear up to deliver the responsibilities that we are trusted with. 1st Syawal & 100 days outside of comfort zone. Happy Eid Mubarak to all Muslims around the world. May all of our ibadah and prayers during Ramadhan accepted and wish you happiness with the love ones in this Syawal. 10th April 2024, marks 100 days for me stepping out of my 10years of comfort zone. From staying with my wife and kids in serene town in Terengganu with no traffic to merantau in hethic Kuala Lumpur life with almost 2hours of traffic daily. From working around people, who I have known for years in familiar refining business to totally new network of people in project delivery strategy field. 3 things I learn from this experience, 1. Learn to accept. Accept that this is own decision, and anything came from this has their own reason and purpose. 2. Learn to adapt. Try to experiment and learn new things. Dont shy to be the "new" guy and ask around. Not being the smartest guy in the room is OK. Later you will find your "tempo" back and fit into the new life. 3. Learn to appreciate. Be grateful on what you have previously, time with family and friends and all the experience. And also appreciate on what you will experience in your future, takes new things as a challenge to be a better version of youeself. Appreciate your new circle of friends and network as they will be part of new life. Just keep on learning guys =)

#Day11 of #21Days21Tips from The Test Chat 🌟 A tip from a memorable experience during my time in Malaysia! 🌟 During a visit to the enchanting Pinang Peranakan Mansion in Penang, Malaysia, I had the pleasure of engaging with a knowledgeable guide who shared a fascinating insight about the mansion's grand staircase. ⭐ Foundation Matters ⭐ What struck me was the deliberate choice of using hard stone for the initial step. According to him, this first step symbolized the importance of laying a firm foundation – a concept deeply resonant with me. In our careers, much like climbing a staircase, the initial steps require unwavering strength and determination. Just as the first step of the mansion's staircase was built to endure, our professional foundation sets the tone for our journey ahead. ⭐ Balancing Momentum and Reflection ⭐ What caught my attention next was equally intriguing – a wide stair a few steps up, inviting one to pause, reflect, and rejuvenate before continuing the ascent. This pause, I realized, is crucial in our career journeys too. Amidst the hustle and bustle of climbing the corporate ladder, it's essential to take moments to rest, recharge, and recalibrate our ambitions. It's about striking a balance between relentless pursuit and mindful reflection – recognizing that sustainable growth often requires both momentum and moments of stillness. ⭐ One Step at a Time ⭐ Moreover, the guide emphasized the importance of taking one step at a time. Each step, no matter how small, contributes to the overall progression. It's a reminder that success is not always about making giant leaps but rather about consistent, deliberate progress. This encounter with Pinang Peranakan Mansion's staircase left me with a profound metaphor for navigating career growth. As we ascend, let's remember the significance of a strong foundation, the value of intermittent pauses, and the resilience to keep climbing towards our professional goals – one step at a time. Here's to embracing each step of the journey with purpose and perseverance! #CareerReflections #ProfessionalGrowth #MindfulJourney #SoftwareTesting #QualityAssurance
