We need carbon drawing rights to power green energy & production transition in the Global South. No need to make China raise solar panels prices. Let them sell cheap and get the Global South off fossil fuels now

Wildly illuminating. “Currently, climate finance is overwhelmingly debt-based. In 2023, Oxfam estimated that over 90% of climate finance from multilateral institutions, such as the World Bank, was in the form of loans. Low- and middle-income Countries (LMICs) simply cannot pay off these loans. The International Monetary Fund reported in 2022 that 60% of low-income countries were in or at risk of debt distress.”
Achieving equitable climate adaptation and resilience will require a drastically different way of viewing capital allocation and deployment.

🌍 We can’t afford to wait for governments alone to act on climate change 🌍
The latest U.N Emissions Gap Report (EGR) is UNEP's annual institutional series report that is launched in advance of the annual climate negotiations.
The report reveals an urgent truth: the gap between global promises and actions is vast, and current efforts fall short of the Paris Agreement targets needed to prevent severe climate impacts.
To truly drive change, we must take action ourselves. Charitable giving to effective climate initiatives can make an immediate difference in reducing emissions and protecting our planet’s future. 🌱

Climate change poses a threat to us all, creating devastating natural disasters that impact every corner of our world. We each have a role to play—in government, in business, and as individuals.
At #theipcompany, we are doing our part by donating annually to plant trees in Africa through www.Evertreen.com. Imagine the difference we can make if we all contribute where we can.
Let's forge a sustainable future and meet our 2030 climate goals by taking decisive action today. Our planet's future is in our hands.
Together, we can create change.
