Having just turned 22, we asked some of our team what their highlights have been while working at Zeald. We also asked about their favourite apps, sources of inspiration, and digital opportunities for Kiwis in 2023. Read on for some insights from… Paulo! Head of quality assurance, Paulo Saravia, has been with Zeald since September 2016. A ZEALD HIGHLIGHT? In my early years with Zeald, I travelled over from the Philippines to meet the team in New Zealand - it was great connecting in person. On one trip I visited Hobbiton… but unfortunately, I found no hobbits. MOST-USED APPS? Chrome on my desktop and TikTok on my phone. My littlest one almost owns my phone and she loves TikTok! INSPIRATION SOURCES? My wife and two daughters are my “why”, my purpose. Instagram’s @earthofficial - I love looking at good photography about our earth. LinkedIn generally - just people/groups sharing work environment success and cool stories. DIGITAL OPPORTUNITY IN 2023? Trying out new technology - AI, platforms, apps - if you don’t try, you don’t know what they are or what they can do. I’m currently exploring voice search and its capability in relation to SEO and ecommerce. FAVOURITE THING OUTSIDE WORK? Going out for a meal, and basketball. PEOPLE MAY NOT KNOW… I love cars, racing, and photography. Back in college, I started Davao’s first website providing content to car enthusiasts - Castrol was so impressed I was flown all-expenses paid around the Philippines to cover car events.
