Major 🔑's to success from a medical sales star, Ryan Inglett, Senior Executive Sales Representative at Ambu USA. Ryan won region of the year in 2020, and finished top 5 for four straight years. Ryan's keys to success in medical sales ⬇ 🔑Pleasant Persistence While the main goal is to get the sale right away, but if that's not possible, then I want to be the first person my prospect thinks of when they have an issue or are entering the market for the product I am selling. Persistence pays off; some accounts took 2 years to close, but there's not a single one that I haven't been able to lock in eventually. As soon as you stop being persistent, you will miss your opportunity. 🔑 Leave no Stone Unturned There are tons of people in every account that can be instrumental in pushing a sale forward. Just because one person says no or tells you to keep it moving, doesn't mean the next person won't be ecstatic to help, whether it be an office manager, physician, lead nurse, MA, PA, materials management director, sterile processing director, or anesthesia tech. There is no shortage of contacts in every scenario so use them all! 🔑Leverage your Resources This will vary from place to place, but we often have SO many resources and people at our fingertips that bring different value to the table. Are you even trying if you aren't using 100% of your available resources? ✨Thought to live by: If you don't ask, you don't get!!! Simple. Ryan is one of the most creative, positive and gritty salespeople I know. Don't believe me? Ask him about his morning mirror routine and his 'Rubik's cube' story. 📚 Every week, I'll share keys to success and quotes to live by from exceptional professionals I ADMIRE. #success #leadership #entrepreneurship #medicalsales #future #motivation #medicaldevice #sales

Helping High Performing Medical Sales Leaders give their teams the mindset and skills to drive explosive sales growth through inspirational sales training | Medical Sales Training | Sales Coaching | Key Note Speaker
How much self-motivation do you need in medical sales? 🤔 I say bucketloads 🪣 The top sales people know what makes them tick. They know what drives them. They know how to keep themselves engaged. They don't rely on their manager, their colleagues or their partner to motivate them! Want to get the most out of your business this week? 1️⃣ Assume responsibility - You are the CEO of your territory! 2️⃣ Take action - stop procrastinating and go and see 'that' customer 3️⃣ Know your outcome - be crystal clear on what you're going to achieve BEFORE you go into the call I liken it to training in the gym - I don't always want to go but the buzz once my session is done........ #mondaymotivation #medicaldevices #bephenomenal

⬇️⬆️ Medical sales is a relationship business. True and false. Don’t confuse relationships with product fit. Story - (saw with my own eyes) There was a certain rep converting surgeons left and right. He was so busy he had to bring on an associate. They split his territory and hired another associate. It was blowing up over a few years. It was truly remarkable. I thought wow this guy has it figured out. I just couldn’t put my finger on it. I saw him at conferences and he was talking to all the heavy hitters. I had to figure out his magic. He was a very likable guy. He had at least 2 surgeons attending a course every month. Like shooting fish in a barrel. 🛑 Then it all stopped overnight for the rep. This is when I realized what he had going for him was product fit and not true buying relationships. He left that company to work for the competition. One would make the assumption that at least half of the surgeons would move with him. (It’s never as high as people think) Not one surgeon converted. Why? Previously, what he sold no one else had. When surgeons had a choice they didn’t choose that rep. Remember this => ✅ Product fit is important and can get you in the room. ✅✅ But trusting relationships weather the storm and changes. ⁉️If your customer had Carte Blanche to do what they want, would they choose you? If not, why not? Focus on that. Thoughts? #levelupmedsales #momentum #devicesales #sales

Purpose-driven medical sales professional. coaching med reps to improve performance, develop skills, and build remarkable careers.
I work in medical sales, I go to work everyday at 9 AM, I visit 4-6 hospitals, I meet some nice and welcoming doctors, My sales target is easy to hit, this makes me stress free, and leaves enough mental bandwidth to focus on serving doctors and patients, Once in a while I'd make a group meeting for some doctors and all of them happily attend. By 5 o'clock I'm done. This is my life as a med rep, But in a perfect utopia! ..... Here's what my day really looks like. I get stuck in traffic, I reach my first account at 9:30, A few doctors will accept my visit, A few will refuse to meet, Most of the time I'm stressing about my sales quota. A lot of time is wasted in commuting, Postponed meetings, and waiting. I try to squeeze in some emails and paperwork during the day, Sometimes I'm working for 10 or 11 straight hours. ..... The fact is, Medical sales is an incredibly overwhelming job. It's stressful, demanding, and time consuming. But, when I take the time and reflect on the impact I have on patients' lives, I feel incredibly Fulfilled. The notion that I'm providing tools for HCPs to help the patients, alleviate their suffering, and improve their lives is what motivate me to go through this hardship. I Always say: Medical sales is extremely challenging, but it’s so freaking Fulfilling! P.S. is your day more like the first or the second scenario?
