It is facilitated by Ruckus Wireless which is blocking the ability for Sonos to mesh properly. Your support team calls it a “known issue”. My work-around was to call in and ask your team to enable the physical ports in-suite and buy my own wifi routers. Not very “nirvana”. Also, this is backhauled and served out of your Chicago facilities. Any plans to put an actual presence in Atlanta, join a local IX or three, and keep traffic in-market? It’s extremely high-latency with current design and your limited peering combined with poor (cheap) IP transit choices make this a second class internet service compared to Google or AT&T fiber offerings. You could at least send Maxmind a geoIP update to have your Atlanta IP’s tagged as Atlanta rather than Chicago. Makes it less necessary for VPN to avoid blacked-out games due to regional broadcast restrictions. Sorry folks, but you’ve got work to do here to make this anywhere close to best-in-class. Unfortunately for residents in the building, they are a captive audience and aren’t able to use anyone but Zentro.
