⚠ New post-Brexit border checks are coming into force today! ⚡ The new regulations will affect the import of animal and plant products, including Polish meat (chicken, turkey, fish, and ham), which represents 8.6 percent of all goods imported by Britain from Poland. Agnieszka Kisielewska is quoted by the Times – our expert agrees that the border checks will help increase the phytosanitary security level. She raises concerns however around the communications campaign (or the lack of it) in advance of the new regulations coming into force.
