Surrounded by more than a thousand athletes and their coaches, families and supporters, we were grateful for the opportunity to present a $12,500 donation to Special Olympics Idaho during the opening ceremonies of the annual Idaho State Summer Games on June 7. Special Olympics Idaho provides your-round training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, helping the athletes develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and connect with others. “At Zions Bank, we recognize that we can build stronger communities through inclusivity and creating opportunities for all,” said Wilder branch manager David Moore, who presented the check to Special Olympics Idaho CEO Kristi Kraft. “We’re honored to support Special Olympics Idaho in their mission to empower athletes and give them the chance to thrive.”

🌟𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐌 𝐁𝐈𝐆🌟 Big dreams are the stuff of legend. They are what we tell our children, what motivates us in times of hardship, and what inspires us to be our best selves. Dreams give us purpose, passion, and hope for the future. To dream big is to step boldly into the unknown, to reach for the stars and risk failure. It is not an easy path - there will be obstacles, naysayers, and setbacks along the way. But those who persist, who trust in their abilities and follow their hearts, can achieve greatness. The world needs our creativity, our ideas, and our ambition to create a better tomorrow. Let’s dream big together, and never forget to honor those who came before us and paved the way for our dreams to become a reality. My last company was a mentorship platform. Whenever I worked with young men who wanted to go to college, I told them to join a fraternity. - You'll meet veterans who've served our great nation. - You'll meet sons of immigrants who appreciate America, capitalism, and democracy. - You'll raise money for philanthropic causes. - You'll learn more about your own values. - You'll forge friendships that will last a lifetime. My crew of friends from my fraternity were in my wedding party. - You'll learn how to organize and take a stand for things you care about. - You'll have a space to make mistakes, which all college kids do. There is a certain strain of hopelessness taking over college campuses. Your tribe will keep you from falling into that pit of cynicism.
