It's about the lazy people who when a job advert goes up and they see it, all they do is write I'm interested in the comments. Look at the advert, read the post, follow the application procedure which is not you writing I'm interested, as recruiters are not going to bother with you if you've just written I'm interested. Make a concerted effort to actually read the post and apply for the position correctly, or reach out to the recruiter personally to find out more information about the role. Some thoughts after a conversation with a potential Solar Construction client yesterday 💭👀 Me: “How long has the Project Manager role been open?” Hiring manager: “2 months” Me: “When was the anticipated start date?” Hiring manager: “Middle of December. We have a lot of upcoming solar installations.” Me: “Why hasn’t the role been filled?” Hiring manager: “I am the one trying to find the candidates and I don’t have time.” Many of my clients are hiring managers attempting to fill their own roles because they do not have an internal recruiting team or their recruiting team doesn’t have much capacity. Visual Capitalist has shared an image showing that the job market is constantly changing, and the next decade will see a significant shift in the types of jobs available. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) predicts that there will be 11.9 million new jobs created from 2020 to 2030! The fastest-growing jobs will be in: - Healthcare - Computer and math - Renewable energy However, some jobs will also decline significantly, such as those in office and administrative support, production of goods and services, and sales. - The fastest-growing job is wind turbine service technician, with a growth rate of 68.2%. - Nine of the top 20 fastest-growing jobs are in healthcare or related fields. - Eight of the top 20 declining jobs are in office and administrative support. Anyone have any tips (recruiter to recruiter) on where to find Solar Technicians lately? Indeed has been sending me applicants lately that just do not match the job descriptions. I am aware LinkedIn isn't the strongest resource for trade roles like these, but I will continue to share them on here just to be consistent with my postings and to try to increase exposure about these roles. Deeply disappointed by the lack of entry-level opportunities in the wind industry. Everyone want people with a lot of experience, but if no one is hiring entry levels from where we can get experience? Also in this Wind Industry I saw the most unorganised relationship between HR and employees.
