So.. every end has a new beginning. I've recently joined PTR's Training Team! 📈 This step is a big deal for me, coming after many months of job hunting. I'm ready and eager to give everything I have and prove myself to the company that is willing to give me a chance. A huge thank you goes to my family, friends, and partner for their endless support. And a pat on my back for never giving up, especially when times were tough. I also want to thank all the recruiters who gave me a chance to interview. Likewise, give people some time and try to help them. You may be a life-changer. Starting an MBA in the UK and adjusting to a new country were just parts of my journey to a career transition in IT consulting—a dream now realised. This is a long way and I want to share some reflection with you all and hopefully, it will encourage and inspire some people: - Self-Doubt vs Self-Belief: It's normal to doubt yourself, but keep believing. Self-doubt makes you ponder improvement; it shouldn't stop your efforts. - The Power of Support: Never be shy to ask for help. These conversations can be eye-opening, for you and others. - Broaden Your Horizons: Specialising is great, but exploring other areas can reveal unexpected passions and opportunities. - Kindness Matters: Rejection is hard, but don't let it define you. Be kind, to yourself and to others. Persistence opens doors. Joining PTR reminds me that life's a marathon, not a sprint. We get stronger with every challenge. To anyone out there on their own journey, be proud of how far you've come! Now... The right data at the right time and in the right hands support better outcomes. This article outlines some of the key problems with the current approach to data use and describes how Restacking the Odds (RSTO) has been addressing these problems. The eagerly anticipated arrival of the ELTIF 2.0 is here, which should provide another avenue for the private wealth channel to access private capital markets. In our view, the market has had a luke warm reaction to the draft Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) from ESMA, particularly with respect to liquidity.
