Scary Stuff   Do you dare to visit haunted funhouses, dungeon museums or watching scary movies? Some people don’t. If you asked them why, they just don’t like to be scared.   Scary stuff can be entertaining when you are not afraid of it. They are made scary by the stories created behind it, and by humans. Years ago, when I was in York, UK, I went for one of the famous ghost walk tours in the evening. The whole tour last an hour where the guide brings you to various streets and tell you certain scary stories behind it. He is really good in telling them and get the audience some decent scares. But no one sees no scary stuff.   Here is a thought, anything you are afraid of, they tend to be much bigger then it seems. Example, if you are afraid of cockroaches, it will look much bigger and creepy than someone who is not afraid of it. Yet you didn’t realise that cockroach is more afraid of you. But if that cockroach is coming near your kids, all of a sudden you are much bigger than it.   That’s the way to deal with anything you are scare of. See it as something else smaller and weaker than you. Don’t let yourself believe you are scare of something when those reasons are man-made. You can rewrite those stories by confronting what you are scare of. #GlennDailyWisdom

Princess Leia anyone? I’d like to say my 1st Grade picture was inspired by Princess Leia. But this was a few years before her time. 🫣 So… just maybe… what that means is that my mom’s work, here, was the inspiration for Leia. 🤷♀️ My buns inspired her buns. 😅 I like that story. Maybe I’ll keep it. And here’s the point. We make up stories all the time. ALL. THE. TIME. We make them up - About ourselves - About others - About our past - And more And we don’t usually make them up in a nice way. Unless you’ve already done some powerful work on yourself, you know I’m right about that. So how about being a friend to yourself when you make up stories? How about making up stories in a nicer way? And if not, why? Be curious with yourself about why you keep harsh stories. Maybe there is a good reason. Maybe. If so, that’s important information. And maybe it’s an old reason that you no longer need. Be curious. You deserve to have yourself as a friend.

A little inspiration from one of the greats! I'm a huge Audrey Hepburn fan, for many reasons.
