5 areas I invest in without thinking twice.

Hello everyone,

It's been a little over a month since I wrote my last blog. After having many new ideas in mind, I thought of something quite interesting to talk about i.e. the 5 major areas I invest in. While some of you might relate to it, others might think it's totally absurd. ;-)

Listed below are the 5 key areas I am most passionate about and invest in 'without much thought.'

1) Tech Devices/Gadgets: I personally believe most guys can relate to this. We men are highly addicted to our gadgets and love to possess the latest up beat trendy devices in town; be it a smart phone, high tech laptop, smart TV, music system (especially Bluetooth speakers) etc. Since tech is something I always have had passion for, I love to invest in it.

2) Fitness center & workout gear: Having been involved in the area of training for the last 3 years, training center & gym gear is something I can never compromise on; includes everything ranging from facilities and training equipment at the gym to my running shoes & workout gear.

3) Apparel: Something that most of us give massive importance to in today's day and age. Statistically it's proven that 60% (followed by 30% in posture and 10% with what we speak) of our image is perceived with the way we dress, hence its an aspect one can't chose to neglect. Therefore when it comes to attending a major event or meeting someone or even when traveling somewhere I ensure to have on the most stylish & trendy apparel.

4) Personality Development Essentials: Since personal growth and development is extremely close to my heart and something I believe in striving for daily, I don't feel the need to think twice before investing in any essentials that will help me grow. Whether it comes to learning a new skill online, attending a training seminar, purchasing books to gain additional knowledge etc, I am always game for it.

5) Accessories: The two key components which I totally love to invest in under accessories are: A) Colognes B) Shades. For people who have known me long know my intense fascination for colognes and shades. I believe these accessories convey a subtle (yet strong) distinction about your personality to those around you. When it comes to colognes, I have tried majority of the well known brands ranging from David Off to Versace. My top 2 favorites till date being: 'Unforgivable' by Sean John & 'Fierce' by Abercrombie & Fitch. However, when it comes to shades my love for 'Raybans' have gotten me glued to it and therefore its a brand I have stuck on to every time I decide to pick up a new pair.

I am sure some of you can relate to few areas listed above, while others are thinking 'why so much consumerism?'

I believe we humans have different likes and interests for which we consciously or subconsciously invest/spend more on than other aspects and that sums up 'consumerism' according to me.
