Lead generation is the toughest part in Digital marketing. No matter how much knowledge you have in SEO or paid. If you don’t know how to generate lead or conversion. It’s all waste of time and money.

5 points you should focus before going to create Lead gen campaign in Facebook:

  2.  Creative
  3. Placements
  4. Optimization
  5. A/B testing

Audience:

  Audience is first important thing in Face book campaign. Not only in Facebook its fits for all Campaigns. Right ad to the right audience will led to conversion. It sounds Good Right!!! Let’s say if you are selling dog food. Your creative is perfect. But what is the use of ad reaching to restaurant owner. Its waste of your budget. So focus on the audience first. If you are targeting right audience even if you creative is not good it will led to conversion. I am not saying creative doesn’t matter. But audience first.

If you are new to face book or you don’t know how to target. Use the tools called Audience insights. It will give you a clear idea of who is your audience and what is there interest.

Creatives:

Creative is second import thing for generating more leads. Getting user attention in Facebook feed is not that much easy. Your creatives have to stop your audience and prompt them to read. Analyse the Competitor ads and get a better idea.

Use tools like Ad beat, Big spy. More over Facebook have it own option to analyse competitors called Page transparency

Placements :

“Placement “ is the place where and all your ad is going to run. If you are new to Facebook i suggest you to use automatic placement if you already know about the placements and you are experienced with Facebook campaigns go with manual placements. Be frank if you’re goal is Lead generation Go with manual placement focus on Facebook , Instagram Newsfeed and Stories. Don’t waste your budget in Audience networks and other placements.

Optimizations:

Optimization is rotational Process you have to keep optimize your ad for lower CPA means CPL ( Cost per lead). Monitor you ads at least three days Once. You should monitor you ads and breakdown by delivery, placement wise to see CPR in each area and Each placement.

Let’s say for example i am running ad for Grocery products. My target is India. If facebook took more money to run a ad in story placement with lesser or no conversion. Better remove that placement to save your money and spend in converting placements like feeds. Break down by every single aspects and try to reduce your CPA.

A/B test:

Test, Test, Test. Don’t trust Facebook potential reach section for more reach and leads. Test your Campaign with different creatives and audiences.
