What's the registration fee?

$0. YES. This is a free summit, open to everyone interested in parental leave. Attendees can also earn SHRM-SCP and HRCI recertification credits and registrants will have access to rewatch all recorded sessions.


Why is the summit only about parental leave?

Because it's time for paid parental leave to have its moment, to be the central conversation, not just one of many discussions in the fight for working parent policies.

The U.S. has a parental leave crisis and working parents lack the support and policies they need to excel. While 70% of people are parents, only 27% of private sector employees have access to paid parental leave (SHRM). Paid parental leave policies yield the biggest ROI for families and employers and are the #3 most requested employee policy, only behind medical coverage (of course!) and flex-work, including WFH.


What content and programming should I expect?

Our focus is ACTIONABLE content.

The Parental Leave Summit is an ACTION summit: every session will include tangible takeaways and next steps for HR, decision-makers, brokers, and parents.

We have designed two programming tracks: one for parents and employees, and one for HR teams, decision-makers, and brokers. Throughout the day, attendees can mix-and-match sessions that meet their needs.

For Parents and Employees 

This track is for individuals and open to everyone, and will include:

  • Tangible ways to talk to HR about adding or expanding a paid parental leave policy
  • Templates, checklists, worksheets
  • Action steps to destigmatize paternity leave and equitable parental leave
  • A Parental Leave Planner and organizer designed by a parent coach and doula
  • EXPO floor: you can talk directly to our partners in breakout rooms
  • The power of parent coaching in improving your parental leave experience


For HR, Brokers, and Decision Makers

This track is for B2B and distributors, with the opportunity to earn both SHRM and HRCI recertification credits. Here’s what to expect:

  • Compliance do's and don'ts from EEOC experts in paid parental leave
  • Budgeting and ROI analysis on paid parental leave policies
  • An in-depth comparison of programs including PFL, STD, SDI, and more
  • Strategies and best practices to build benefit packages for working parents
  • How to use personalization and coaching tools for employee engagement
  • Identifying the right client for paid parental leave and how to add it to their package
