August Round Up
Completion 18 Weeks Ahead of Schedule
We are thrilled to announce the early completion of our 101-home affordable housing development in Kilmarnock for Cunninghame Housing Association Ltd . The £17m project is the largest modular low-rise, affordable housing development in Scotland and we delivered it within budget and a staggering 18 weeks ahead of schedule!
The development's programme was originally targeted for completion in 122 weeks - already a betterment on traditional construction - however refinement in our off-site manufacturing processes saw completion achieved in only 104 weeks, with tenants moving in, in stages from week 50.
This achievement really highlights the efficiency and excellence of modular construction and its ability to provide high quality affordable housing at speed.
An official completion event was held on August 13th 2024, which saw two young residents cut the ribbon to ‘officially open’ the development’s play park (pictured).

Charity Fundraiser for MSA Trust
This Friday 30th August we are hosting a charity games day for our teams to raise money for the Multiple System Atrophy Trust.
Our staff will go head-to-head in various challenges and activities including pool, darts, dominoes and cards.
The Multiple System Atrophy Trust was chosen in honour of our former colleague, Kenneth Clarke who was diagnosed in 2021 with the rare neurological disorder, Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) and passed away in June of this year.
Kenneth was a talented graphic designer and he leaves a lasting legacy at Connect Modular having contributed to the development of many important brand assets, including our logo!
