Award-Winning Leadership: Board Directors Recognized for Outstanding Achievements

In a remarkable display of leadership and excellence, two members of NFI's Board of Directors were recently honored with prestigious awards, highlighting their exceptional contributions to their industries.

In May, NFI Board Director, Jannet Walker-Ford was honored as the first recipient of a new award named in her honor at WTS International's, originally named the Women's Transportation Seminar, annual meeting in New Orleans. The annual Jannet Walker-Ford Breaking Barriers Award honors a WTS member who has overcome obstacles in their careers and eliminated barriers for others.

In June, NFI Board Chair, Wendy Kei was announced as the recipient of Women Corporate Directors (WCD) Visionary Award for Strategic Leadership. This prestigious award recognizes an individual committed to excellence in corporate governance and strong dedication to diversity and inclusion.

Wendy will receive her award during WCD’s two-day marquee conference, the Global Institute, taking place on Monday, September 30th at KPMG Lakehouse in Orlando, Florida. The Global Institute gathers corporate leaders who provide thought leadership and best practices on today’s most pressing issues for boards and executive leadership teams worldwide.

These awards recognize the innovative vision, ideas, and unwavering commitment of our directors. Their achievements show their dedication and highlight the teamwork and forward-thinking attitude that drive our Company's success.
