Baptist Health Named One of the Top 10 Healthcare Brands in the Nation

We were named one of the Top 10 Healthcare Brands in the country. Christine Kotler, our chief marketing and communications officer, shared her thoughts on what makes Baptist Health South Florida a top healthcare brand.

Q: What does it mean to you to be a top healthcare brand?

A: It’s truly inspiring to be part of an organization where every day the focus is on taking excellent care of our patients and community. Baptist Health has a rich history of caring for the South Florida community. Driven by compassion, humanity and quality, the dedicated healthcare staff throughout all of our locations, from Palm Beach County to the Florida Keys, earn people’s trust through each interaction as they provide the most personal care.  Our patients put their trust in us daily, and it’s a responsibility we don’t take for granted. This honor recognizes that Baptist Health is the brand South Floridians instinctively turn to for their healthcare needs, and we are extremely proud and humbled to be recognized in this way.

Q: What makes Baptist Health a top healthcare brand?

A: We are really proud of the work we get to do each day to care for our patients—which at the core is to provide high-quality healthcare and a compassionate, welcoming experience that puts the patient at the center of their care. Patients and families need to trust their healthcare brand, and trust requires authenticity and consistency. It may take a few good experiences to build trust, but only one negative encounter can break that trust. We recognize that people have choices when it comes to their healthcare, just like they do for any other service, and we work hard to build a reputation of quality, compassion and confidence. It’s important for us to be there for our customers when and where they need us. Sometimes, that’s through highly specialized care at one of our renowned Institutes, other times it’s in our emergency rooms or urgent care centers or primary care practices, or even online with virtual visits. We want to meet consumers where they are, in whatever way they need and prefer, throughout their life’s journey. We are constantly working to make sure we are delivering the best possible experience for our patients and evolving to meet their needs.

Q: This study centers around humanizing brands. How do you do that at Baptist Health?

A: People want to know that you’re there for them and will take care of them and their families, always. Our culture of caring centers around being welcoming, listening to and doing what is best for patients and families, and serving as a reliable resource for health and wellness information. By delivering on these efforts and making a meaningful connection with people, we are able to attain the level of trust that defines our brand. We understand that every day, we have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our employees, our patients and our community- and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. When people see our pineapple logo, we want them to immediately experience that feeling of warm, compassionate care.
