Communications & the Corona virus

Communications & the Corona virus

During this stressful time in our world, where the onset of a virus is grinding things to a halt, we must consider how we can improve communications. We are quickly approaching a critical apex that will affect how much work can get done, how quickly it can get done, and how effectively it can get done.

With the lessening of face to face, in person communication, how do we get the same results of that type of communication? Lets face it, people are not taking meetings. They are worried about this virus, and interaction with people at this moment in time. As the trends have been moving towards more virtual, web based communication, now is the time to review your organizations plan.

Do we enhance our visual communication? Is our infrastructure ready to handle the uptick of web conferencing? Do we have the right content being managed and sent to our employees? What else can we do to stay productive? These are all important thoughts that need to be answered.

Now is the time to look at your infrastructure and make those changes. The gap between the bridge of technology need and communication effect is shortening. These kind of world events will continue to drive the needed change in Web-based communication, telephone meetings, video conferencing, and face to face meetings.

The technology is available, time to change, adapt, and move forward......or fall in the gap.
