EEEGR Director elections - Have you had your say?

EEEGR Director elections - Have you had your say?

Voting is now open for EEEGR members to vote in our democratic election process to decide the next intake of directors onto the board. As a member you will shortly be receiving ballot papers and details of how you can vote along with biographies of each nominee  that is standing for election.

This year we have have seven nominations to fill three positions namely Nigel Cornwall of Cornwall Energy, Mark Goodall of Aker Solutions, Graham Hacon of 3Sun Group, Joe Podolsky of Stork, David Rowan of Epic International, Stuart Smith of Morton Technical Services and Michael Wilder of Petans. I am  delighted to see that we have attracted such a sparkling line up of nominees representing a good cross section of our industry.

You have to be an EEEGR member to vote and I would encourage as many members as possible to exercise their democratic right to vote to ensure your trade representation organisation has the directors on board that will be able to drive the organisation forward and meet the needs for our industry.

Directors are elected on a three year term with three longest serving directors resigning each year in rotation thereby ensuring  continuity whilst also encouraging new blood into the mix and make up of the board.

If you are not currently a member I'm sorry but it is too late this year to have your say. I would however encourage you to join up so that you can express yourself in future  elections.

Nominees are invited to be present at the count and we will announce the winners at our AGM on Friday October 19th
