Episode One Troubleshooting 'Sensor Cleaning'
There maybe times you need to clean the sensors on your Popcake Commercial #pancakemachine. The common error messages you could see on the equipment meaning the sensors need cleaning are 'check bag/cap then close lid' this indicates an obstruction to the stream/size sensor, mix has built up on the sensor. A 'check/change bag then close lid' message is caused when the mix is too thick and can't be dispensed and the most common is a 'belt error' message indicating mix has built up on the sensor and it can no longer detect the rotation of the belts.
These error messages are all easily resolved by a quick clean of the sensors to get your machine running smoothly again. So here is a quick guide to how:
Step 1 - Remove crumb tray, splash guard, bottom belt and leave front door and lid open. Have a damp cloth & blunt/butter nnife or thin flathead screwdriver ready.
Step 2 - Take damp cloth and clean the size sensor (first sensor on left) by removing any mix from the sensor.
Step 3 - Take damp cloth and clean the stream sensor (second sensor on left) by removing any mix from the sensor.

Step 4 - Take damp cloth and remove any mix from the orange belt sensor housing. Wrap the cloth around a blunt, flat knife or screwdriver and very gently clean the sensor groove to remove any mix.
Step 5 - Put the bottom belt, crumb tray and splash guard back into position. Sensors have been successfully cleaned and the machine is ready to use.
