Fighting PTSD with 4 wheel driving in the great outdoors

Fighting PTSD with 4 wheel driving in the great outdoors

This is a really important interview I did with Marcus Nash, the Founder of the Blue Green Crew.  Marcus has a really inspirational story about hisown experience with PTSD following the Black Saturday fires and the work that he has done in helping members of the emergency services and Defence Force personnel who have been struggling with PTSD to get their lives back on track.  It is a great story about looking after your mates and the therapeutic benefit of going offroad.

Please listen and share this story with anyone you think may be doing it a bit tough who works in the emergency services or ADF.  I was lucky enough to attend an event with members of the Blue Green Crew and talking to some of the people that Marcus and the team have helped, for me, really highlighted the impact that PTSD can have on people and the great impact that this program is having in saving lives.

Hey Scott Young, thank you for sharing. I did the podcast because I was really inspired by the great work that Marcus is doing, but I have been amazed at the number of people who have reached out about it. It is great that you are talking about it, because too many people suffer in silence, not realising just how common it is and that they are not alone. Thank you.

Thanks for posting this James. I've been challenged by PTSD for the last 8 years after my car was rear ended by a cement truck. It's changed the way I live and work but With a lot of help, love, time and my will to keep going I challenge it right back and have continued to improve each month. I've been public about my situation as I want people to know that everyone has their own challenges. No one is as perfect as we believe them to be. We're stronger and healthier together than we are apart. You are not alone! Scott Young - PTSD sufferer and still a valuable human, good daddy & creative entrepreneur.
