Last year, they raised an incredible £5,700 through their team efforts and created a buzzing sense of community among colleagues. When asked what they loved most about getting involved, Norton Rose Fulbright told us:

“I love the feeling of team comradery while taking part in the challenge – it was a way to get to know people in my company that I had never really met before and speak with them about something other than work.”

Like the Smart Works service, we believe more can be achieved together and hold this sentiment throughout all pillars of our charity. To get lots of teams of 5 signed up, Norton Rose Fulbright gathered their past Cycle for Smart Works participants and also targeted the office's bike network.

"We also reached out to our usual network of Smart Works volunteers and utilised comms channels to reach the wider business."

Whether you choose to cycle to work in the morning or join a spin class in the evening - there are so many different ways you can incorporate the challenge into your day-to-day activity.

In addition to your fellow teammates with a shared passion to keep you on track, we'll also be here to give you the push start you need and cheer you on from start to finish.

"It was great to be a part of a group working towards the same goal. We were all united in trying to fit in our miles during a busy time at work and firmly believed in raising money for the wonderful work that Smart Work does"

Whether you're motivated by the comradery, the competition, or your fitness goals, we hope you Cycle for Smart Works between 1 and 8 March 2023 and join us on our mission.

 Norton Rose Fulbright's top tip:

"Having an enthusiastic team leader to get people pumped for the challenge, sending a couple of messages before to make sure people are set up and know when to get going helps to keep the morale up."
