- Brief one-sentence description of what you do at KCL: Manage organic and sponsored Social Video content production, ideation, performance, and the team with an emphasis on TikTok but also Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest.
- What inspired you to join KCL? I had known of KCL previously, but I was hooked once I began learning about the company before responding to a job posting. I have a soft spot for industry disruptors, and the fact that KCL is a female-owned, user-led, scrappy company started and led by two moms who happened to be best friends? Who in their right mind wouldn’t want to be a part of that?!
- Share a fun fact most people don’t know about you: I’m a bit of a thrill-seeker who’s always on the lookout for unique experiences. I've gone ziplining, skydiving, done hot air balloon rides, and even drove a tank once!

- What’s your favorite part of your job? Our team! I love working with, growing, training, learning from, and alongside, our Social Video team. Everything always comes back to people for me. I also truly enjoy working cross-functionally with the KCL team as a whole and learning about other departments' processes, wins, hurdles, and how we can support each other.
- What's the most unexpected source of inspiration you've found for a video? I specialize in TikTok, so that’s a tough one. It’s so random, and that’s the best thing about the platform. But, I get excited and super inspired anytime a random pop song from the 80s or 90s starts trending with the younger set. Imagining how to not only connect that audio and what we do to the trend but also how to tap into the nostalgia while connecting with our core KCL audience is always a fun challenge.
- What sets KCL’s video content creation apart from its competitors? Does KCL have competitors?! Just kidding. Mostly. Our team’s expertise in all things deals and saving money. Knowing (and sharing!) the little tips & tricks to turn a good deal into a fire deal---like where to shop, how to stack discounts, and when to buy or not. Plus, our team takes complicated concepts or deals and breaks them down simply into bite-sized pieces that are easy to consume. We know couponing can be intimidating if you are new to it or thinking about starting, so our goal is always to take the stress and mystery out of it so that anyone can be successful. Whether someone wants to be a Krazy couponer or a lazy couponer, we make it easy.
- Can you share a piece of advice or a mantra that has been your guiding light in rocking social video? Relax! There are no stupid questions or ideas, and there is really nothing we can’t try in some way, shape, or form. Some ideas will be a hit, some won’t—and that’s okay. We learn, we level up, and we live to TikTok another day.
