Olympics Fever Inspires Fitness at Work
As the excitement of the Olympics reaches a fever pitch, with the closing ceremony just around the corner, it seems even corporate hallways are buzzing with a spirit of athleticism.
While none of us are on the verge of breaking world records, we at Techaxis are dedicated to maintaining our fitness despite the demands of our jobs. The high stakes and pressure in the business world are akin to those in competitive sports, after all!
We asked our Techaxis team members about their exercise routines and discovered that many of us commit over five hours a week to staying active. It turns out that cardio, yoga, and the gym are popular choices. A common theme in our regimens is the desire to keep things dynamic and varied. Whether it's swimming, hitting the gym, or going for long walks, incorporating two to three different types of exercise in a week is a typical approach.
Here’s the scoop on how we keep fit!
Sunita: “Weight training and cardio daily for at least an hour and a half.” Because why settle for one when you can have the best of both worlds?
Vipul: “An hour of pushups, jumping lunges, kneeling squats, plank to downward dog, bicycle crunches at home, topped off with meditation to stay active.” Home gym and Zen garden, anyone?
Nanti: “Strength training at the gym 5 days a week.” Pumping iron like it’s going out of style.
Priyanka: “Cardio and breath work.” Running and breathing, the essentials of life!
Sabyasachi: “Hatha Yoga Asanas.” Because bending like a pretzel is the ultimate stress relief.

Sushim: “Along with weight training, I also include a cardio regime at least once a week and make sure to complete 8000 steps every day. My fitness regime also includes a clean diet and at least 6-7 hours of sleep every night.” Fitness goals? More like lifestyle goals!
Irani: “Workout 6 days a week, which is a mix of strength training, weight training, and cardio. Plus, I’m involved in household chores. I avoid store-bought food and sugar, only indulging occasionally.” The ultimate multitasker!
Amrita: “Regular walking and yoga.” Keeping it balanced and serene.
Sayanti: “Dance.” Because who says exercise can’t be fun?
Saurav: “Walking and no sugar, carbs, or fried foods, and lots of fluids.” Walking the talk of a healthy lifestyle.

So there you have it! Our team might not be Olympic athletes, but we sure know how to stay active and fit amidst our busy schedules. Who knows, maybe one of us will be inspired to take up a new sport next!
