Physical & Mental Health Awareness - 5 Simple Life Lessons with Incredible Impact

Dear Colleagues, Friends, and Family,

I have lived on this planet for close to 40 years (God bless!), however, am constantly seeking words of wisdom and advice from profound innovators, thought leaders, and entrepreneurs — to help get me through life’s constant curveballs. Whether as a casual read or through daily affirmations, I believe positive declarations can have incredible impact on one’s quality of life and greatly improve both physical & mental health.

Below are (5) five lessons I've learned from the late/great Steve Jobs. They are far from the only lessons that Jobs left us, but these are some that have resonated with me as I navigate through my personal and professional journey.

I'm reminded of these lessons even more as we approach the Thanksgiving Holiday — a holiday that allows us time to pause and take stock of all the fortunes that we have been blessed with. I am grateful to my clients and colleagues in the A/E/C industry for demonstrating innovation and humanity with the various charitable initiatives taking place amidst a pandemic. As we know, the pandemic forced us to reach out for help across competitive lines and to collaborate as an industry to access a collective source of wisdom, and in that experience lies the same approach that is needed to develop best practices in commercial real estate. Lastly, I am grateful to my family for keeping my feet securely planted and providing me with unwavering love and support.

I'd love to hear from you all on what you are grateful for and what lessons have impacted your life journey the most, both personally and professionally. Please reach out via phone, email or social media with your thoughts.

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and are able to gather safely with those closest to you.

Take care now!
