The Pittsburgh Power 100 2023 is here!

Every year, for the past four years, the editorial staff at the Pittsburgh Business Times has asked (and answered) the question: who are the power players in our region?

And when we say "power players," we mean the people in the region who are able to truly make things happen in the business community. When we formulate our annual Power 100 list of these individuals, we often ask ourselves "Who, if they called you right this moment, would you stop for and take their call immediately?"

On this year's list, which we published today, you will find a variety of people in a variety of fields. It does not include elected officials, and each person on the list must reside within the region. The full list can be viewed on our website: https://bizj.us/1qhn80.

Some individuals have been on the list every year since its inception — folks like Bill Demchak, CEO of PNC Financial Services Group Inc. or Farnam Jahanian, president of Carnegie Mellon University. Others are brand new to the list this year, people like Saleem Ghubril, executive director of The Pittsburgh Promise or Jaime Tuite, head of the Pittsburgh office at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney.

We hope that you find this list to be a valuable resource, and that you come back to it throughout the year. We take suggestions for Power 100 all year long, so if you think that you or someone you know should be included in the Pittsburgh Power 100 2024, reach out to Editor-in-Chief Jennifer Beahm at jbeahm@bizjournals.com.
