Veteran commercial real estate executive John Crossman, president of CrossMarc Services , likes to say that for every 10,000 new residents to Central Florida an additional grocery store is needed. It should not be surprising, then, to see Lakeland-based grocery powerhouse Publix Super Markets making a land acquisition in fast-growing Lake County, where it confirmed it has plans for a new grocery store.
