Q6: What else is so darn great about the Roadmap to Operational Readiness, Rev 1?
A6 – Part Three:
It is readable.
To the extent possible the roadmap is written in simple English. The 80 plus contributors to the roadmap hail from across the globe. Additionally, newcomer nations and new nuclear projects are sprouting up across that same globe. So, we present it in the language most commonly spoken by nuclear professionals worldwide - English. And out of respect for those who speak English as a second language, we tried to restrict ourselves to basic language.
The roadmap also attempts to be conversational. While the Roadmap discusses a complex topic in a highly technical field, it works hard to be less of a procedure and more of a story. From start to finish it attempts to follow a commonsense storyline.
And finally, the roadmap is presented in a Question & Answer format. We put ourselves in the seat of a new nuclear executive. We asked ourselves, “What questions would a savvy new nuclear executive ask?” We identified those questions, answered those questions, and then presented them in what we hope you will find to be a logical sequence.
We encourage you to grab a coffee or tea, pull up a comfortable chair, and jump in. You are guaranteed to be enlightened about the journey ahead.
