Reflection Questions for Intentional Leaders

Reflection Questions for Intentional Leaders

On my latest trip to Denver, I spent some time writing and thinking about two reflection questions that I believe are crucial for intentional leaders.

  1. Am I spending time with the right 5 people since they have such a powerful impact on my leadership? Our behaviors are a direct result of the five adults we spend the most time with. These people help to shape and endorse our attitudes, thoughts, and feelings, which in turn, drive our behavior. I want to encourage you to take time today and jot down the names of your 5 people you spend the most time with and make notes beside their names. How are they impacting your leadership? Are these the right people for this season? Who's missing? Am I prioritizing time to be around the leaders I need most?
  2. Do I value those 5 people? Acknowledging, appreciating and affirming the key people in our lives is essential and an honor we should not take lightly. Valuing the people making the biggest mark on our lives not only strengthens our relationships but also is exactly how Jesus would lead.

I hope these questions serve you as you become a more intentional leader.

P.S. I'd love your prayers for the Integrus team. Many of us are on the road facilitating or keynoting events. Here's a list of our trips.
