OUR PARTNERSHIPS

‘Breaking’ boundaries in open spaces

We recently revealed that almost half of young adults in the UK have been inspired to try new sports this summer by new activities coming to Paris 2024, such as breakdancing. To celebrate this, we partnered with Team GB breakdancer, Karam Singh, to host an exclusive workshop with a local dance group, I Got Soul. Against the backdrop of London’s iconic Tower Bridge, Karam demonstrated some incredible moves to budding break-dancers and the passing public alike. This embodies Samsung’s ‘Open Always Wins’ spirit for Paris 2024, which is all about defying limitations, embracing innovation, and inspiring others to achieve their dreams.

As break-dancers get ready for Paris 2024, Samsung also documented the story of the global break-dancing community born from the streets in a film called ‘Breaking Boundaries’. It is a celebration of breaking as an explosion of energy and soul that gives you a sense of expression and belonging and encourages you to do something we’ve never seen before.

OUR PEOPLE

Making tech more accessible

Ahead of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, we joined members of the Royal National Institute for Blind People and Royal National Institute for Deaf People at Samsung KX for the launch of the first Samsung Supporter’s UK group. Over 40 people were in attendance as spokespeople covered a range of topics including Samsung’s progress so far in bringing more accessible features to its products, and how customers can report or feedback on accessibility improvements. The group’s mission is to use that customer feedback to develop innovations that make Samsung devices more accessible. Read on here to learn more about our commitment to creating accessible tech.

 OUR PRODUCTS

Unleashing the power of AI with the Galaxy Book4 Edge

We teamed up with leading industry partners Microsoft and Qualcomm to unveil a next-generation AI PC with Galaxy Book4 Edge. It’s designed to supercharge productivity: the Snapdragon® X Elite processor equips it with unmatched performance for accelerated AI capabilities from Galaxy AI and Microsoft Copilot+. These features work together to allow you to get more done, faster, and also keep your device more secure. You can even benefit from AI features when offline thanks to on-device AI, an intelligent platform that learns from your usage patterns over time and creates optimised experiences.

Putting AI smarts in millions of hands across Europe with One UI 6.1

Millions of people have downloaded and are using our Galaxy AI features. Following the highly anticipated debut of One UI 6.1 with our flagship Galaxy S24 in January, the update is now available on even more devices. It is one of Samsung’s most popular ever software updates, with 8.8 million downloads across Europe already! If you have a compatible device, make sure it’s updated to the latest software so you can experience Galaxy AI too!

Leading the way with gaming monitors

We have been crowned the global number-one selling gaming monitor brand for the fifth consecutive year. This comes after we took the top spot in the global sales of OLED monitors just one year after launching our first OLED model – the 34” Odyssey OLED G8 gaming monitor. It’s all thanks to our continued innovation and understanding of the needs of today’s performance-demanding gamers around the world.
